We are looking for a Glazier or Glass Cutter who has great attention to detail!

An individual who is good at sizing up, cutting glass and coordinating the warehouse function!

About the Role:

• Apply your technical knowledge and practical skills to efficiently cut custom glass by hand for planned jobs
• QA of deliveries and ensure glass meets the AS1288 standards
• Read and understand blueprints and their specifications to identify necessary work details, including colour, shape, size, type, and thickness of glass to be installed
• Be an active ‘ hands-on’ team member in the field when required
• Receipt, acknowledge, pick, prepare and dispatch orders as required
• Monday to Friday 7.30 am – 4.00 pm (Occasional Saturday)

 About you

• An understanding of AS1288 Glass in buildings
• An understanding of glazing techniques and requirements
• Experience Cutting Glass & attention to detail
• Ability to use a computer and organise paperwork
• Qualification in Glazing preferred but not mandatory
• A strong eye for detail and great time management skills
• An understanding and working knowledge of safety practices.
