Are you a passionate Industrial & Employee Relations Specialist and looking to start 2021 with an exciting challenge? We aim to make a real difference in times of need and in support of this, we are searching for an experienced IR/ ER Specialist to work across multiple stakeholder groups within the organisation. Reporting into the Head of HR - Operations you will not only be a HR team member but will be a pivotal contributor by providing Group wide expertise and support on all IR & ER matters. As the IR/ ER Specialist, you will: - Be working across multiple stakeholder groups within the organisation and provide Industrial & Employment Relations advice to ensure legislative compliance is met
- Have a great understanding of workplace relations legislations, regulations and policies and procedures
- Own and deliver all EA negotiations with unions, staff and other stakeholders
- Be responsible for overseeing and supporting dispute resolution processes, award and EA interpretation and be able to promote positive employee relations across the organisation.
- Provide advice and support to the wider business regarding all other matters pertaining to enterprise agreements, relevant modern awards and legislative requirements
- Be a subject matter expert in coaching and supporting line managers with workplace investigations and by providing advice on resolving issues and mitigating risk
To be considered, you will have: - Tertiary Qualification in HR, IR/ER, or Employment Law
- A minimum of 5 years proven experience as an IR/ ER Specialist (in-house/employer body)
- Demonstrated experience in the delivery of timely and business focused IR/ ER advice, direction, and services
- Proven experience with Modern Award interpretation and negotiation
- Sound written and verbal communication skills
- Confident, engaging approach and a natural ability to communicate
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet all deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail
- Resilience and the ability to work in a complex and changing environment
