Your primary focus in the role will be to generate NEW business from our existing B2B clients as well as building relationships & sales with new clients. About the Role …

 

You will be working in a high-functioning and collaborative team. 

 

In this role, you will be required to undertake the following duties: 

  • Establishing and implementing sales strategies and practices which support the achievement of long term and annual business plans and budgets across O’Brien®
  • Working closely with existing customers as well as sourcing and establishing new business through a variety of channels including networking, cold calling, and first-class customer relationship management
  • Establish new relationships with customers in the Glazing, Plumbing and Electrical portfolio as part of the O’Brien ‘property services’ solution
  • Developing operational level client relationships, analysing, and developing integrated client solutions to meet our client’s strategic needs
  • Demonstrated ability to develop ongoing relationships with B2B Accounts through regular contact and presentations and demonstrations as required

 

About you …

 

To be successful in this role you would need to possess the following: 

 

Essential skills & competencies:

  • Previous Sales/ Business Development experience
  • Demonstrated experience within Glazing, Electrical or Plumbing trades is desirable
  • A true passion for delivering customer service excellence
  • Experience in achieving targets
  • Confident, engaging approach and a natural ability to communicate
  • Technology savvy, knowledge of, or ability to quickly familiarise oneself with systems and tools
  • Resilience and the ability to work in a complex and changing environment
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent self-organisation and time management skills
  • Confidentiality, sensitivity, and integrity across all aspects of the role
  • Excellent attention to detail

 

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Tertiary Qualifications (or deemed equivalent experience/aptitude)
