National Electrical B2B Operations Role

 

The Corporate Electrical and Plumbing Division of O’Brien (O’Brien Group Services) is seeking a talented, experienced, hands on, driven all-rounder to lead and drive the electrical, technical, sales and operations component of our B2B service business.

The role

 

Reporting to the Head of Property Services, this role requires a highly motivated, hands-on individual who has had 5+ years’ experience overseeing SOW development, reactive and preventative maintenance, project rollouts and general operations of electrical works in a B2B environment. The role incorporates the following:

  • Proven technical knowledge of electrical works with a Current Electrical Licence
  • National Technical Nominee for electrical portion of the business including leading WHS and Safety meetings
  • Management and accountability of electrical operations within the division
  • Supporting the sales team with existing and new national maintenance opportunities – SOW development and interpretation; pricing and estimation
  • Streamlining operations including controlling costs and managing growth 
  • Implementing policies and procedures 
  • Strong focus on customer/account management

 

Your skill set

 

The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas:

  • Development of SOW and pricing for existing and new customers
  • Technical support for an existing sales structure
  • Experience in applying specific electrical knowledge to other situations and trades (critical thinking)
  • Improving systems and infrastructures 
  • Supporting national sales team to drive results
  • Problem solving and negotiating skills
  • Proven account management experience
  • Ability to work within a larger multi service team
