For a newly created role, we are seeking an experienced Health, Safety & Wellbeing Business Partner who is dedicated to driving a positive safety culture and risk reduction across O’Brien® Distribution Centres nationally.

Here is some of what you will do...

  • Providing leadership and advice on Health, Safety and Wellbeing risks across the business
  • Drive improvement through strong collaboration with stakeholders
  • Promote and support the development of safety culture in responsible areas
  • Ensuring that the business meets all WHS legislative requirements
  • Travel to multiple locations to provide hands on support
  • Conduct site audits and facilitate risk mitigation planning
  • Perform training and coaching to drive safety performance

About You

  • A minimum of 4 years’ experience in WHS
  • Experience working in Distribution Centers or Warehousing environments
  • Demonstrated experience in hazard identification and risk management
  • Experience in change management & project support of facility changes or relocations
  • Strong understanding of relevant state and federal WHS legislation
  • Demonstrated experience in injury management
  • A sound knowledge of WHS management systems implementation
  • Demonstrated experience in ensuring site compliance and conducting site audits
  • Developing and presenting effective training programs
  • Experience in incident investigation and reporting
  • Intermediate MS Suite ability
  • Tertiary qualifications (Certificate IV of HS&W as a minimum), Return to Work Coordination training and a current Driver’s license are essential for this position.
