The Glazing Supervisor role contributes to the maximization of the profitability of the Metro Glazing business through leading a team of Glaziers (employed and sub-contractor) to provide an outstanding Customer Experience and Service.

So, who are we looking for?
Our ideal candidate will have:
Extensive experience in all aspects of glass and glazing
Ability to collaborate with Management and Planning team members to drive efficient use of our crucial Glazing resources
Work closely with our Technical Sales team members to assist with quotations, including site visits, establishing scope of works, cost input, resource requirements and planning.
Ability to negotiate site programs, carryout material take-offs, assisting with the ordering of glass, aluminium and other hardware
Be an active ‘hands on’ team member in the field when required
Ability to self-manage and prioritise conflicting priorities
You will be responsible for forming strong relationships with key stakeholders in the business units and participate in developing opportunities to grow the business with new and existing customers.
Demonstrated ability to take a proactive approach in identifying and solving problems
A flexible result orientated approach, whilst maintaining our commitment to being caring, collaborative, genuine and driven in everything we do
What about you?
To be successful in this role you would need to possess the following:
Manual driver’s licence
Certificate IV in Glass and Glazing
A genuine passion to lead and mentor your Glazing team
A passion for delivering outstanding customer service
A friendly and approachable communication style
Willingness to work in a changing environment
A strong eye for detail and great time management skills.
