Storeperson/ Driver - Kewdale WA

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a keen and enthusiastic Storemen/ Driver to join our Distribution Centre (DC) in Kewdale WA. Our DC provides service and stock to our O'Brien® branches across the country.

About the Role …


In this role you will be supporting the team by providing exceptional service and ensuring that our stock is being delivered to the right location by the estimated time frame for our Metro Branches. In addition to delivery driving, you will be responsible for arranging dispatches, inventory management and reducing breakages.


You will be supported by a team of experienced staff and will have access to a range of benefits. You will receive training as well as ongoing coaching and support to ensure you get the most out of your career. 



About you …


You will have already worked in an Distribution Centre/ Warehouse, can quickly build rapport and strive to deliver exceptional customer service at all times.


To be successful in this role you would need to possess the following: 


Essential skills & competencies:

  • Must have a manual drivers licence 
  • A current forklift licence (advantageous but not essential)
  • Previous experience as a Storeperson/ Driver 
  • Experience with loading and unloading stock
  • Packing of stock within a set of safety guidelines
  • A true passion for delivering customer service excellence
  • Confident, engaging approach and a natural ability to communicate
  • Resilience and the ability to work in a complex and changing environment
  • A strong desire to succeed
  • A strong eye for detail
  • Excellent self organisation and time management skills
