Automotive Technician - Diagnostic Expert Mechanic
Full Time - Padstow, NSW

Use your mechanical knowledge and skills to work with a supportive team in diagnosis and calibration of our vehicles.

 

  • This is a Full Time Permanent role - 38hrs per week plus reasonable overtime
  • You MUST also be able to work rostered Saturdays 

 

To be successful for this role, you must hold a current NSW Motor Vehicle Tradesperson Certificate (MVTC).

 

 

About the role:

  • Get off the tools and work with our team calibrating vehicles from the office
  • Work in a small team and use your vehicle system knowledge to be successful in this role
  • Work with diagnostic equipment and technological innovations to assess and calibrate vehicles
  • Confident to use computer systems and Microsoft Office
  • Full training will be provided
  • Dealing with different stakeholders

 

About you:

  • Have a current NSW MVTC Licence 
  • Able to work Saturdays
  • Trade Qualified as Light or Heavy Mechanic or Auto Electrician
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Stakeholder management skills  
  • Minimum of 2 years workshop experience required
  • Sound automotive knowledge, diagnostic skills and experience
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Excellent time management skills and a demonstrated ability to prioritise
